The cheeky logo sparrow has been whistling it from the rooftops in Frankfurt and Slubice for a long time: Here, and only here, is the "transVOCALE", the only "festival for song and world music" in the east of the republic. Always in November the sister cities move into a musical state of emergency: Then, funky musicians and hip singers from all directions arrive.

Before the big musical chirping can start, the "transVOCALE e.V." takes care of money and advertising and other necessary little things.

In 2007, the organizers, enthusiasts and supporters of transVOCALE founded an association with the aim of ensuring the continued existence and further development of the festival. The festival is organized by the Kleist Forum in cooperation with transVOCALE e.V. and the Kulturhaus SMOK in Slubice.
